We’re collaborators, not consultants.

We’re strategists who actually give a damn about your work.

Arrow pointing right

We didn’t set out to build a business (and yet, here we are). What we really wanted to do was build better ways to tell the stories that get overlooked.

Butcher, Baker, Beatmaker is a name that honors the creative process and the different roles it takes to do it well.

The Butcher trims the fat. Sharpens the message. Cuts straight to what matters.

The Baker builds from scratch. Shapes raw ingredients into something structured, intentional, and sustaining.

The Beatmaker brings the rhythm. The edge. The thing that makes it memorable.

That’s how we work, whether we’re building your brand strategy, developing campaigns, shaping thought leadership, or helping your next big idea reach the people who need to hear it.

We work across brand, comms, content, and amplification to shape the voice, story, and strategy behind your work. That might look like refining your brand positioning, building messaging frameworks, or growing the right audience around your idea.

It might mean developing a thought leadership platform, defining your executive voice, or setting a media strategy that actually aligns with your values. It could be editorial direction, social media storytelling, or creative concepts for video and podcasting.

Sometimes, it’s all of that … plus the campaign, the event, and the follow-through to get it seen, shared, and supported.

Meet the Founder

Amanda Zantal-Wiener has built brands, led global teams, interviewed rappers, and ghostwritten for executives who shape entire industries. Now, she’s shaping her own.

She’s a strategist, writer, and former marketing executive with nearly two decades of experience helping brands and creatives find the right words and how to deliver them. Her work spans global tech firms, platforms, nonprofits, and independent artists with something to say and no time to waste.

Before launching Butcher, Baker, Beatmaker, Amanda led content and brand strategy at HubSpot, Thryv, and Search Engine Journal, driving audience growth, developing executive voice, and building performance-driven storytelling systems.

But she got her start writing about food, travel, and music long before “content strategy” was a career path. That return to her roots is the beating heart of Butcher, Baker, Beatmaker: a creative practice grounded in clarity, rhythm, and purpose.

She’s also the co-creator of Growth Raps, an online miniseries in which she interviewed indie hip-hop artists about branding, business, and building a creative life on your own terms. That work of amplifying bold voices through smart strategy still defines what she does today.

Whether you're an artist, a startup, a nonprofit, or a global brand, Amanda knows how to take your idea and make people care about it.
